Welcome!
Welcome to my private ballet studio in the heart of Brentwood that served my many talented students for the past 30 years.
Some of them became professional dancers, artists, entrepreneurs, some made their way to Hollywood, others chose the paths of doctors, lawyers and other wonderful professions.
But all of them turned into beautiful, elegant ladies, who truly appreciate and understand the art of classical ballet. And I'm proud of all of them!
Ballet requires such precision of execution, such focus and self-control like no other form of dance.
Constantly lifting and raising the body on the tips of your toes brings an elevated state of mind as well.
I welcome everyone who loves dance, music, grace and who's willing to work diligently towards their goals:
*it could be a dream of becoming a professional ballerina;
* an aim for a gymnast or figure skater to become more expressive and technically clean;
*or simply develop a pleasant routine of physical exercise that gives peace of mind for older ladies;
*or for a young girl - to have great posture and walk with grace through her life!
I tailor my sessions of classes to each individual considering their goals and meeting their challenges.

"Ms. Natalia is an amazing teacher and I feel lucky that I was able to train with her for the past year. My technique, artistry, and musicality have all improved with her help. Her classes challenged me and helped me grow into the dancer that I am today.
She teaches with love and encouragement. I am now a student in the Professional Division at the Pacific Northwest Ballet and owe Ms. Natalia so much gratitude for helping me achieve this goal!Â
I am thankful for her expert guidance and support. She will always have a special place in my heart.
I highly recommend Ms. Natalia for any serious dancer who wants to further their ballet training."

"Natalia is the best ballet teacher I ever studied with - and I studied with many!
Her teaching is clear and effective, coming from her years of experience as a dancer and teacher. But even more importantly, she is so caring and inspiring and helps her students grow in their love of ballet. I couldn't recommend her more highly."
Jennifer Rosenfeld,CEO of iCadenza and President & Principal Managerof Cadenza Artists
Natalia was the best ballet teacher I've ever had! Attentive, meticulous, and supportive, she taught me to pay attention to the little things and to develop my artistry. I gained a new appreciation for telling a story through movement and I will never forget my time with her!

"I took private ballet lessons from Natalia for 3 years whilst living in Los Angeles. She completely changed the way I saw ballet. Being such a wonderful and loving person she made me realize the love and soul that goes into ballet when you truly love it! And I can see that that has never left her.
She fully commits to her students and wants nothing but the best for them. Being an excellent motivator she is also a magnificent teacher when it comes to implementing technique. This facilitated my training immensely and helped me get into the Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis School when I moved to New York City.
I am forever grateful for the impact she has had in my life, and although my move out of Los Angeles was 10 years ago, she is someone I still keep in touch with to this day and see when I am in LA.
I could not recommend her more, as she will truly bring light into anyone's life as well as hugely improve anyone's ballet technique."

About
Born in Russia, Natalia received her professional education at the School of the State Musical Theater of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) under the patronage of the esteemed choreographer Igor Bielsky.
Her main classical ballet teacher, whom she is immensely grateful for was ballerina of Mikhailovsky Theater, honored pedagogue Kira Kniazeva - one of the favorite students of the great Agrippina Vaganova, so Natalia's knowledge and teaching approach comes first hand.
She also feels very fortunate to study under the guidance of the best master teachers at the time and appreciates their impact on her professional life. Amongst them are Volia Vakha - world-renowned ballet acting coach and theatrical producer, Vladimir Feiertag - an amazing musician and jazz teacher, Alla Lunter-Matsulevich - one of the unique stage acrobats of 20th century, and many many others.
Fifteen years of working in the theater and extensively touring the world opened many opportunities for her, and one of those was an invitation to dance in the USA, where she moved with her husband and toddler daughter in 1991.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles she and her former colleagues formed the dance troupe 'White Nights", and successfully created five performing dance programs. At the same time Natalia started teaching privately, as well as working in several studios and gymnastic schools throughout Los Angeles.
In 1996 she"s got a contract with Paramount"s Carowinds Theater (North Carolina) to perform the role of "Ballerina Natasha" created for her in the show "Magical Madness" by The Wilsons Productions.
Later on, she began teaching classical ballet to all levels, choreographing pieces for ballet schools in LA, including Marat Daukayev School of Ballet.
But her passion lies in private teaching where she finds her greatest satisfaction in the results and growth of her many students.
In her own words: "The Art of Ballet can elevate any person's life in the most noble way. The process of learning steps, connecting your mind and body, and feeling amazing at the same time can benefit anyone who loves to dance through life!"
